Day 299 ~ Oh the clutter...

This bench is holding all of the Halloween stuff I've been buying...costumes, props....I can't wait for Monday when I can clear this clutter.

Day 295 ~ Water Bottles

Sean is the trainer for Connor's hockey team - so he's in charge of the kids' water bottles.  We fill these up at least four times a week, sometimes five.

Day 294 ~ Matryoshka Doll

Mason's daycare uses these for the kids.  They used them when Morgan was there, and I had bought her a Little Mermaid one in Montreal.  My sister spent the week in Montreal, and came home with these for Mason.  They have this cute song that they sing while opening the dolls:

Day 292 ~ Napkins

My friend is hosting a Halloween party soon...I came across these and could not leave them in the store.

Day 271 ~ Supplements

Okay, Dr. Oz says he takes Vitamins A, B, C, D, E and Omega 3.  I'm adding Calcium to the mix, and starting a new regime.  My multi-vitamin just isn't cutting it.

Day 259 ~ Amoxicillan

Bi-lateral ear infection, and pink eye in both eyes.  I think tomorrow will be a much better day.

It was our school BBQ tonight, so I took Connor and Morgan...Mason and Daddy stayed home, where Mason stuck his finger in Daddy's eye...His Pink Eye finger!!!  Here is Connor with his friends.

Day 254 ~ Winter Purse

I've switched over to my winter purse - I found this in my closet when I was cleaning it out last week.  I don't know why I haven't used it more, but until now it was my "once in a while" purse.  Now it's going to be my everyday purse.



Day 246 ~ Where did Everybody go?

Ok...I was on the QEW at 5:10pm on a Friday night, and it was empty...I had to take a picture.  The westbound lanes were bumper to bumper.

Day 243 ~ Flowers

One of my lovely co-workers bought me flowers as a welcome back.  They were on my desk after I got back from a meeting.  Thanks Ann!

Day 242 ~ St. Luke's

I walk past this old church everyday on my way to work.  So pretty.  Great place for a wedding.

Day 237 ~ Defrosting

Day 236 ~ Opposites

Day - Classroom style training scheduled for my second and third days back to work - really gets the brain focussed back on work!

....and Night. Eat, Pray, Love - enjoyed the movie, but haven't read the book.

Day 235 ~ Back to Work

...after a 15 month maternity leave.  Oh the joys of the first day - we've got the usual problems - ID pass was not activated, PC instead of laptop, no chair in my office, no garbage bin, no phone, my old laptop deployed to someone else just TWO weeks ago, all of my old emails wiped out, new time tracking procedures. I'm sure it will get better :-).

Day 232 ~ Divers

Went to Wonderland today, and saw the Victoria Falls divers for the first time.  Pretty impressive...66 foot jump, 3.5 metres of water to stop their descent.

Day 228 ~ Uh oh...

I stood on the scale this morning, and three weeks away has not been good for my body.  I also saw the doctor today, and my blood pressure wasn't great.  Diet and exercise, she says....it's always the same old story.  I keep waiting for someone to come up with something original, but they always say the same thing:  Diet and Exercise.  Guess this scale will be my focus for the next little while.

Day 220 ~ Paying Fines

This is me paying my husband's speeding ticket.  Good times.

Day 203 ~ Newspaper Delivery

We have someone new delivering our paper, and they go around the crescent, pitching it out of a van door.  Instead of picking it up from my front porch, I now have to go hunting for it.  Tonight it was just behind the back wheel of our Ford Edge.

Day 187 ~ Pool Noodles

We went to the pool again today, where I love just floating around with these pool noodles.  This led me to reminisce about my mémére - she LOVED the water, and always went in with a ball so that she could just float around.  She could stay in there forever.  She would have thought these pool noodles were awesome.

Day 179 ~ Pictures from the School Year

Morgan's teacher wanted to give each child in the JK/SK classes (50 kids) a CD with pictures from the whole year.  We've been working the last few days on organizing the pictures, and got together tonight to do the CDs.  The first ones took 30 minutes each, so we started to worry about how we would get this done.  I had our two laptops in service, the teacher had hers.  I finally got it down to about 12 minutes per disc...that's still a late night trying to get all these done.

Day 166 ~ Take 3 Times Daily, for 7 Days

Shingles....what the hell!?!?  Luckily it appears to be a mild case, as we leave for Vegas tomorrow...
