Day 90 ~ Ten Months

My bunny is 10 months old today...He crawls around here, getting into all sorts of trouble - picking up everything he finds and shoving it in his mouth, taking all the dvds off the shelves, bee-lines for the stairs as soon as he sees the gate is not up between the kitchen and the rest of the house.  His favorite "toys" are the remote control, and the laptop.  He doesn't sleep very much - two forty-five minute naps a day, but he's happy the rest of the time, so it doesn't really matter.  At least he sleeps until 8AM, as opposed to his brother, who used to be up for the day at 6AM.

He does not have any teeth, but I served up beef stew today, and he loved it.  He's starting to really protest if I spoon feed him, so I'm on the hunt for finger foods.  This week's offerings included rotini in tomato sauce, and raisin toast with cream cheese cut up into fingers.
Morgan took this picture - she hasn't mastered keeping her fingers off the flash, which is why the colour is wierd in this shot.  But I love this Mommy/Mason picture.

Day 89 ~ The Other Boleyn Girl

Here's what I'm reading right now...I'm loving this Henry VIII period.

Day 88 ~ Self Portrait

Here's a picture of moi...got new glasses a couple of weeks ago, as well as a new haircut.

Day 87 ~ On Being a Spectator

This is how Morgan spends all of her time at Connor's hockey games.  All of his games have been at an arena with nowhere to sit, so I stand in the warm area behind the windows, and Morgan plays with her Leapster, eats her Goldfish and drinks water.  Today we added some Timbits to the mix.

Day 86 ~ Goaltending Duties

Connor was the goaltender at today's playoff game.  He did an awesome job, and had to deal with a lot of breakaways - his team won with a score of 4-2, and will be going to the championship game.

Day 85 - Living Room

Well the only picture I took today was of our living room, because we went shopping for new furniture and I wanted to send our current configuration to the sales lady who was helping us with our choices.  So here is our living room as it looks right now.  Stay tuned...in about 6-8 weeks, it will undergo a transformation.  Although the wine colour scheme is staying - we bought the new drapes and throw pillows when we "stole" the blue & brown stuff for our family room.

Day 84 ~ Feeding Baby

Connor gave Mason his morning bottle.
And Morgan gave him his dinner....it's hard to feed a baby without opening your mouth...

Day 83 ~ Salad

It feels like summer out, so here's a summer dinner.

Day 82 ~ Shananigans

Sometimes this house gets a little crazy.  This is my sister with the kids.  Hope she doesn't mind being on my blog!!  :-)

Day 81 ~ T-Rex vs. Pee-Rex

This was one of Connor's toys...it growls, and moves around.  Instead of being scared, Mason loves it.  I'm going to make it's new home Mason's dinosaur themed bedroom.

Day 80 ~ Champions

Connor's hockey team won the hockey tournament they were in over March Break.  The trophy is treasured in my house - by both Connor AND Morgan.

Day 79 ~ Sleeping Beauty

My sister rubbed Morgan's back for about three minutes, and next thing we knew, she was asleep.  I think this new area rug must have some super sleeping powers over my children.  First Mason, now Morgan....Maybe I should try it.

Day 78 ~ Disney World in Chalk

Morgan drew Disney World today.  We see the Castle, and below are all the rides and hotels.  I see it's sunny in WDW.  Hopefully this is what we'll get in six weeks.

Day 77 ~ Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies

Made 40 of these this morning...took 27 to a playdate, and they're all gone.  This is what's left at home...6 measly little cookies.  I'm sure they won't last long.

Day 76 ~ Day at the Park

Wow!  Today was gorgeous out, so we went to the park.
Mason found it very exciting.

Day 75 ~ Pneumonia

We got the diagnosis - Pneumonia.  We got the good stuff to eradicate it - Zithromax.

Day 74 ~ Cora's for Breakfast

Well we had the sump pump replaced this morning (by a professional :-) ), then headed out to Cora's.
I ordered Eggs Benny...yum!

And here's the ankle biter as I'm trying to update my blog.

And here he is trying to get in on some Wii action.

Day 73 ~ Rubber Boots

It feels like Monsoon season in Southern Ontario, and our sump pump is dying.  I bought these rubber boots this week in preparation for the rainy season.

Day 72 ~ Check the Expiry Date

BEFORE you bite into the caramel cake.  Yuck.
And tonight's temperature for Connor...41˚C, which is pretty crazy.  We saw the doctor this morning, but nothing obvious jumps out, so probably viral.  And Mason's sleeping patterns today lead me to believe that the round of antibiotics he just finished for an ear infection did not clear it up...back to the clinic tomorrow!

Day 71 ~ Growing Baby, Sick Boy

Took a picture of Mason in his carseat today - and here's the newborn shot to compare it with.

Connor's temperature has been hovering at 40˚C anytime the ibuprofen wears off since yesterday...hopefully tomorrow brings a normal temperature, otherwise we're heading to the clinic.

Day 70 ~ The Historian

My current read.  Another vampire book...that Twilight series has changed my taste in stories!  This one doesn't involve any vampire love, through...just some good old Dracula lore.

Day 69 ~ Day of Shopping

Oooh...lots of shopping today.  Here's one of my favorite purchases.  It's an insulated lunch bag, and it's so cute!

Day 68 ~ Chapeau Franco-Rigolo

We had to make hats to bring to school for the Semaine de la Francophonie.  We added some Acadian flair to ours.

Day 67 ~ Busy Day

I wasn't home to witness this, but my husband took a picture.  Apparently Mason was crawling around this morning, and at one point just laid down and fell asleep.  The way he describes it is really funny...it sounds like a wind up toy that just ran out of juice.
Morgan got this tea set for Christmas...she was painting them today, using the picture on the box as a guide.  Not a bad reproduction...

Day 66 ~ Academy Awards

We've had a busy day - hockey for Connor at 7am, bring-a-friend day at our friends' gymnastics club, visit from said friends, lots of playing outside since the weather was fantastic...and the camera did not come out.  So here's what I'm doing now - watching the Academy Awards by myself, since my husband fell asleep in Connor's bed.  So far my favorite is Christoph Waltz for Inglorious Bastards...I thought he was awesome.  And I'm happy that my Stars & Strollers afternoons as well as steady diet of daytime television have prepared me for the Oscars.  Hmmm...there was a time when the Oscars were not complete without a night of friends, drinks, food and a "Guess the winners" game.  Times have changed.  There's water in my cup, no one around, and not one appetizer in sight.

Day 65 ~ Vitamin C

I feel a cold coming on...gotta load up on these.

Day 64 ~ Ahoy, Matey!

My littlest pirate.

Day 63 ~ Passport Photos

Do you think we'll be able to travel with these mugs?

Day 62 ~ Winter Boots

My husband and I went shopping today.  There are some great deals to be had out there!!  I got the kids boots for next year (although they will probably wear them for the next month).  I generally don't buy ahead anymore, but they were all at such a serious discount that I got two pairs for Morgan - one for now, and another pair  2 sizes up.  I also totally guessed what Mason's size might be next year and got him a pair of boots too.  I know I probably have some from when Connor was a baby, but the only thing I remember about those is that the only person who could get them on was the daycare teacher.  These open up a little, so hopefully we'll have more luck.

Day 61 ~ Dairy Queen

mmmmm....a Skor Blizzard caps off the day very nicely.  The girl in the drive-thru did not flip it over to prove that the ice cream would stay in.  Do they ever do this anymore?  My sister and I were saying what a great marketing tool that was for the Blizzard.  People were always talking about it when this started.  I guess it's not that impressive anymore.

Day 60 ~ Doggies

Our friend visisted with her new puppy...She is a German Shephard/Border Collie mix, and she is sooo sweet.

Day 59 ~ Future Idols

These two are jammin'....getting ready for Canadian Idol auditions in 2021.
