Wow...365 days of pictures...When I started this project, I wasn't sure I would make it to the end of the year. But here we are! Doing this blog has ended a lot of the guilt I was having about not recording my children's daily lives. I have two baby books that are unfinished, and I don't think I even bought one for Mason...or if I did, I'm not sure where it is. But having these pictures and thoughts recorded makes me feel like one HUGE thing is checked off my list. Going forward, my plan is to continue the blog since it is a good medium to update family and friends on what we are up to. However, it probably won't be a daily update - now that I am back to work, the daily photograph was difficult to do (as can be seen by December, which has at least three "retro" entries.
I enjoyed reading my fellow Project 365 bloggers' daily entries over the year.
Happy New Year!! I hope 2011 is filled with love & laughter!

I'll be partaking in some of this tonight :-)

Day 361 ~ Can't Take Them Anywhere...
We went to a friends house for dinner...here is my son showing his good manners.
Let's do that again!!

Day 359 ~ Christmas
First things first - Mason was not going to let Santa's crumbs go to waste.
The loot.
The rocking horse was a hit. Santa sure knows how to please!
The electronics were a hit as well.
Some afternoon down-time working on the puzzle.
Me and my bunny.
And the whole day topped off with a delicious turkey dinner enjoyed with family.
Merry Christmas!!
Day 358 ~ Christmas Eve
The kids in their new Christmas pajamas...time to get the cookies and milk ready, and head up to bed! Tomorrow's a big day! You would never know from this photo that Morgan spent last night vomitting...hopefully the rest of the family will be okay for Christmas....
Day 354 ~ Piano Recital
It was the kids' piano recital. They were AWESOME!!! We had a great evening.
Mason entertained the crowd before the recital started.
Mason entertained the crowd before the recital started.
Then Morgan was up...it was her first piano recital, and she just loved it.
Then Connor - he's getting to be a pro at this...he did a great job!
We took the opportunity to do our annual family Christmas shot.
Day 353 ~ Holly Cole
Sean and I love to see Holly Cole's Christmas show...I used to live in Saint John, NB, and I rented an appartment from Holly Cole's mother...it was a duplex, and we lived upstairs, and she lived downstairs. Good times. This evening's show did not disappoint. I tried to get a picture of the show, but it was a VERY small venue, and when I took my camera out it was very obvious, so I put it away. So here's a picture of our pre-show drinks.

Day 352 ~ Nicholas Sparks
I just finished this book today...my first book by Nicholas Sparks, and I really enjoyed it...I guess that's why he's on the Bestseller lists, and he's got at least 3 of his books turned into motion pictures. I have another one of his that I will probably start today.
Day 348 ~ School Projects
This came home from school...they're so crafty! I don't know what's inside, because it is going under the tree..from Connor!
Day 347 ~ Retro Monday
Ok...nearing the end of the project....I seem to be slipping a little. I don't have a picture from today, but here's what we were doing a year ago, December 13th, 2009

Day 346 ~ Gifts
This is what I was doing last night - I don't think I've ever wrapped gifts this early, but it's a relief to have it done, and I love the look of my tree with the gifts under it. So festive!
Day 345 ~ Dirt Devil & Santa
We got a new upright vacuum, and Mason's been eyeing it...so we went to the basement and retrieved this Dirt Devil...It's just the right size for this little devil.
My friend Cathy took the kids for an overnight sleepover. Woo! Hoo! Sean and I did some Christmas shopping, and then I stayed up until 1AM wrapping presents. Exciting times! She took them to the mall, and got a picture with Santa.

Day 342 ~ Russian Tea Cakes
I made 140 cookies tonight. I need some for the school bake sale on Friday, the kids each want to take some to share with the class, and I need enough that there will be some left when December 24th rolls around. And since these are a favorite in this house, there's a chance that I will be making these again in the next three weeks.
Day 341 ~ Christmas Tree 2010
It's so nice to have a decorated tree in the house! Since this is artificial, I'm going to have to import my fresh evergreen smell. But it sure looks pretty!
Day 340 ~ Boots
Mason loves to put his boots on and off. He's so smart! He also puts on Morgan's boots when he can, or whatever other shoes are available.
Day 339 ~ Christmas & Swiss Chalet
After a productive day - hockey game at 7:30am, homework, Christmas tree decorating, outdoor lights, cleaning, etc....we went out for the Festive Special at Swiss Chalet. Yum! The bun is always Mason's favorite.
Day 338 ~ Caillou
We went to a friends house to celebrate his 36th birthday - at the end of the night, Mason was getting tired so I turned on Caillou - he was mesmerized.
Day 337 ~ Retro Friday
Ok...I forgot to take a picture today...so here's one from the same time last year...It's a flying baby!

Day 336 ~ Brothers
Mason loves his big brother, and follows him around the house. If Connor goes upstairs and closes the gate behind him, Mason is often found standing at the gate, calling Conna! Conna! at the top of his lungs.
