July 1-3 ~ Camping Weekend

We went to the Pinery Provincial Park for the July 1st weekend...what a great spot!  We brought bikes for the first time this year, which brought a new level of freedom for the kids - we allowed them to go around the loop on their own.  We always camp with the same family, and although we've lapsed in the last couple of years, we're back on track!

On arrival...I've started a tradition where I like to take a family shot as soon as we arrive at the camp site - while everyone still looks fresh :)

The boys testing out the new digs - this was Mason's first time camping, and he did great.  The first night, he hung out with me by the fire until he fell asleep, then I put him in the playpen.  He woke up around midnight, really unhappy, and slept with me on the air mattress for the rest of the night.  He slept, beautifully, me not so much, since I couldn't move.
